Vision of Our Senior Pastor
The Senior Pastor envisions River of Life Christian Church as an effective ministry that transforms the lives of people by the mind renewing and flesh warring power of the Holy Spirit, a ministry where the people of God hear the preached and taught Word of God and learn how to interpret and apply God’s Word to the activity of their daily lives, and a ministry that reaches out to the community through evangelism and outreach. A ministry that networks with other churches to provide services to the public on a larger scale and so as not to duplicate what other ministries are doing when we could be providing something different. A ministry that promotes fellowship with other churches understanding that we are all a part of the body of Christ. A ministry that provides an atmosphere filled with the fresh anointing of the very presence of God through Prayer and Fasting, Christian Education, Sunday Morning Worship, Early Sunday Morning Glory, Midweek Training, Shopping for Souls, Conferences, Workshops, Revivals, Healing and Deliverance services, Conventions and Conferences, the recognition and release of the Five-Fold Ministry Gifts, the Spiritual Gifts, Musical Workshops and the Music Ministry in general.
Also we hope to reach out to men and women through Operation Breakthrough, Habitat for Humanity, Foreign Mission. Prison Ministry, Detention Home Ministry, Tutoring Program, Literacy Program, Computer Literacy Program with voice activated training for those people who cannot key, substance abuse program, owning a homeless shelter, owning homes for the elderly, owning a daycare for the elderly, developing relationships with tenants of the Retirement Home called the Spratley House, having a strong video and audio ministry, and starting a radio and television ministry in order to reach more people with the Word of God so that they will give their lives to Jesus Christ.
Finally, we plan to relocate by purchasing/renovating/building a large Multi-Purpose Facility that that has a Sanctuary, Fellowship Hall and Gymnasium . This facility will have classrooms, offices for the Senior Pastor and Co-Pastor, Finance/Trustee room, Deacon/Conference room, Audio and Video Room, Commercial Kitchen, and plenty of parking. Our completed Gymnasium / Youth Center will feature:
We are building a place that is free of alcohol and drugs where our youth can enjoy themselves while being taught godly principles, virtues, morals and values.
Occasionally, gospel artists, Christian comedians and local talent will perform there. Celebrities and sports stars will also come in and encourage the children to go after their dreams and keep God first in their life.
We will have also have the following programs to help children with their schoolwork:
We are planning to have a school for children with handicaps and disabilities because the state is threatening to close down the School of the Deaf and the Blind. Our Commercial Kitchen will allow us to meet all the health department requirements to feed the children we transport from the public schools during the day and provide meals for the hungry and homeless in the evening.

We believe in the triune God-the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, co-equal in power and glory, having precisely the same nature, and attributes, and worthy of the same worship, confidence, and obedience. Matt. 28:18-19; John 1:1, 14; Acts 5:3-4;
We believe that God is absolutely sovereign and has given man a free will to accept or reject the salvation that he has provided. Though God foreknows, God does not predetermine that any man be condemned. God set things up so that our destiny is based upon our choices. 2 Peter 3:9; John 6: 64-65; 1 Corinth 1:21;
We believe Jesus, the eternal Son of God, became a man, without ceasing to be God, and was born of a Virgin in order to accomplish our redemption through his death on the cross as our substitute and assured us of our justification through his literal, bodily resurrection from the dead, thereby making eternal life available as a gift to all who believe on him. Rom 3:24-25; 1 Peter 1:3-5; 2:24;
We believe the Holy Bible in its original documents was written by the inspiration of God, translated for better understanding and is the way God chose to reveal himself and his ways to man. 2 Tim 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Luke 24:25-27
We believe that each member of the human race is fallen, sinful, and depraved from the time of natural birth; and regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for man to experience spiritual birth. The moment a person receives Christ as Savior, he/she is regenerated and indwelt by the Holy Spirit. Rom 3:23;
We believe salvation is on the basis of God’s grace and is received through faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is nothing man can do to merit salvation; it is a free gift. All have sinned and are in need of Salvation. Eph 2:8-9; Rom 3:22;
We believe that the Church began with the descent of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost and is composed of all true believers in this age. We are baptized by the Holy Spirit into the one body of Christ. Acts 2:1-21, 10:44-48; I Cor. 12:12-13;
We believe that the two Ordinances of the Church are water baptism by immersion and observance of the Lord's Supper. Neither Water baptism nor the Lord’s Supper is essential for salvation, but both are scriptural commandments for believers as a testimony to the world . Acts 10:47-48; I Cor. 11: 26; Luke 22:19-20;
We believe a Christian can temporarily lose fellowship, joy, power, testimony, reward and incur the Father’s chastisement due to sin in his/her life. If that professing Christian continues in sin, refusing to repent and seek the aid of the Holy Spirit to help him/her overcome in that area of weakness, that individual is in danger of eternal punishment. I Cor. 3: 11-17; Rom 5:1-2; Eph 1:13-14; Rev 21:11-15;
We believe the Christian Life consists of walking in fellowship with God and that spirituality is sustained by the Christian’s willingness to yield to the will of God and to obey the Word of God. Sin in the life of a Christian interferes with that fellowship with God. The Bible promises forgiveness, cleansing and restoration of a child of God to that position of fellowship with God when a Christian confesses his/her sins. 1 John 1:6-9; 2 Peter 1:5-8
We believe the New Birth is the creation of a completely new nature, yet the old nature remains as capable of evil as ever. The true child of God has two births, one of the flesh and the other of the Spirit. The birth of the flesh produces our fleshly nature and the birth of the spirit produces our spiritual nature, resulting in warfare between the Spirit and the flesh until physical death or the Lord’s return. St John 3:6; 2 Corinth 5:17
We believe that it is the explicit message of our Lord Jesus Christ to those whom he has saved that they are sent forth by him as pilgrims, strangers, ambassadors and witnesses in this world for the primary purpose of making Christ known to the whole world. Matt: 28:18-19; Acts 1:8; 2 Cor. 5:18-20
